We only use the best quality ingredients for your food and keep doing our best to provide you mainly ingredients grown organically. As it’s hard to find certified organic products in Nepal, currently, most of the vegetables in the restaurant are home-grown, organically produced.
All the profits of HAPPY SEDI LODGE will flow into the Children Welfare Association, a home for orphans, semi-orphans and abandoned children here in Nepal. With your orders you support needy children of Nepal.”

We loved our stay here so much that we extended our booking by almost a week! Perfectly tucked away from the busy, noisy lakeside in Sedi Village, yet walking distance if you want to get amongst the action. We are family of five and we had an exceptionally clean, comfortable apartment, a whole level to ourselves! The staff were very attentive with good English and very child friendly. The food full of love and there is much awareness around sustainability with their organic farm and children’s lodge next door. Fairly priced too.

The happy sedi lodge is run for a good cause (for orphans and children in need) all monies go to a charitable cause. Durga and his son run the lodge very well, it’s clean, quiet and comfortable and only a short walk from the main strip in Pokhara. The owner Durga is very friendly and welcoming. He will take time to discuss with you, to cook for you and give the best advice about Nepal and Pokhara. The room was very big and quiet. It had a large balcony. The location is perfect just a bit outside Pokhara Lakeside; it’s quiet but it’s only 5 minutes bike or 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and bars. In addition, the profit of business goes to an orphanage located beside the hotel.
